  11. This program will keep track of batting statistics for 180 players on 12
  12. teams, print out a variety of statistics for individual players and teams,
  13. sort the players on various stats and produce a variety of reports on the
  14. screen or printer. The author designed it for little league play, but says it
  15. can be used on all levels of competitive baseball or softball. BASIC is
  16. required. (Not on this disk. Ask for disk #8126.)

  21. is a baseball stat keeper for up to 30 players. You can enter the statistics
  22. for a game or series of games. If a player is also a pitcher, a pitching data
  23. entry screen will be flashed up. Data entry is in standard Lotus style. The
  24. program allows editing of innings pitched, has sorting capabilities and
  25. comparison statistics. Other features include a flexible report writer,
  26. ratios, and little league support.

  31. is a database of college and pro basketball games data from 1938 through 1986.
  32. The database consists of one-line records containing: the year, the teams,
  33. leading players, conference winners, major tournament winners, Hall of Fame
  34. members and much more.  The documentation is a little confusing because it
  35. gives examples of looking up football data, but this is a basketball database.

  37. Duplicate Bridge Scoring Program (DBSP)

  40. is used to help set up and score a duplicate bridge game. It is designed for
  41. home use and is limited to ten pairs. Included are the movements which may be
  42. used, and automatic match point or IMP calculations. Partial or final results
  43. may be saved to disk for later recall, and the results may be sent to a printer.

  48. allows you to predict, track, and update NFL football games. The 1992 NFL
  49. weekly game schedule is included, along with estimates of the offensive and
  50. defensive scoring strengths for each team. As you enter each week's game
  51. scores, the program updates its estimates of each team's ratings and can then
  52. predict the next week's scheduled games. This program is Windows friendly, and
  53. includes PIF and icon files.

  58. allows you to keep track of NFL teams' wins, losses and schedules for 18
  59. weeks. It shows the average points per game scored by each team's
  60. offense and the average points per game given up by each team's defense.
  61. The program also attempts to make a line on two teams you choose to
  62. oppose each other. Weekly results can be printed out. (Not on this disk.

  75. size. It can be used for bridge, golf and other team sports where players should
  76. be scheduled to play against all other players. It would not be suitable for
  77. non-team sports nor for set-team sports where members of teams should stay
  78. together, such as a bowling league.

  83. is a round-robin tournament scheduling program. It can be used to schedule games
  84. for up to 40 different opponents or teams such that no two teams play each other
  85. more than once until all the teams have played each other at least once. The
  86. schedule can be saved to disk and recalled and printed to screen or printer.
  87. Unfortunately, it does not allow results to be posted and saved in the program,
  88. but otherwise, this is a very well written, feature filled and easy to use
  89. program with enough on-line help for even the most computer illiterate user.
  90. Anyone ever faced with the job of scheduling a league or tournament should snap
  91. up this program. Unarchives to over 140k.

  109. to 30 matches.

  133. individual player, a team of players, or an entire golf club.

  139. maintain a complete record of league players, their handicaps, points earned

  151. group.

  160. different groupings. It has three different scrambling routines, including one
  161. to scramble pairs without regard to handicap. It prints a player roster with
  162. handicaps, rankings, etc. The program is well written and easy to use.
